Originally from Nanjing, China, having studied in the U.S., the U.K., and Hong Kong, I am a theater designer and maker working collaboratively across theatre, dance, and installation. With an endless enthusiasm for every single element of theatre, including scenic design and art, lighting design, acting, and directing, I enjoy integrating light and heavy concepts inspired by artists from different cultural backgrounds, especially those from Nordic countries and Central Europe, to create work that is inclusive and impactful. My approach is dynamic and detail-oriented, reflecting a design philosophy that is both genuine and layered, inviting audiences into thought-provoking narratives.
